    Saffron should be steeped before use. Take water around 50ml in a bowl. Add the required stigmas of saffron in it. Cover and let it sit for 4 or 5 hours. This step assures all the nutrients and benefits of saffron be released into the water. This can then be mixed with hot or cold milk.

    -Saffron quantity of 6 stigmas/per person/day is suggested. This quantity is safe for adults. Children above the age of 3 years, can take 2 stigma/cups of Milk/day. This increases immunity in children prone to frequent colds and coughs.

  • Is saffron available in a cheaper price?
    Being the world's costliest spice, saffron is often subject to adulteration for monetary gains. The usual adulteration used are colored corn silk, and colored bits of paper, however, there are various home-based teats to rule if the saffron you have is adulterated or not.
  • When is the right time to take saffron milk/ saffron water?
    Saffron water or milk can be taken on an empty stomach, to get the maximum benefits it's best to steep it overnight in water before it is added to milk or water in the morning.
